Versacom Inc. recently completed its sixth consecutive year supporting Ford Motor Company at the annual EAA AirVenture program. EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) is an international organization of aviation pilots and enthusiasts based in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1953, it has grown internationally with over 160,000 members comprised of individuals and businesses in chapters worldwide. 
Each summer EAA presents, what is recognized as, the largest annual general aviation event in the world, “EAA AirVenture", at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The weeklong gathering draws thousands of aircraft that fly in for the occasion and attendance of more than 500,000. The event also attracts major corporate exhibitors, hosts hundreds of forums, seminars and workshops, and welcomes nearly 700 journalists each year.
Returning for its 14th consecutive year as the exclusive automotive sponsor of The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration, Ford Motor Company brought exciting attractions and fan favorites to the week-long event. The popular Ford Hangar, and the addition of the Lincoln Pavilion this year, featured interactive attractions and some of the latest advances in automobile technology. Ford's commitment to bringing first-rate entertainment and attractions to the event included an opening day concert featuring Chicago, a pre-premiere of Disney's Planes at the Fly-In Theater, a 60-foot Raptor RC Racing Track, the EcoBoost Extreme Bungee Slingshot, and an evening dedicated to the blues.
Versacom supports Ford’s involvement with the event by handling all on-site coordination for the multi-faceted program as well as public relations, advertising, scripting for video elements and live remarks by Ford executives and design and development of all collateral materials. These activities help build and reinforce the strength of the Ford Motor Company brand and its involvement with EAA AirVenture.
